Reducing Lagness in Wolfteam

Lag makes all WT players angry, boring, and etc. Im really tired of it. Im currently using broadband with only 1Mbps. My PC specification is Pentium4 2.88GHz, 1GB DDR RAM, 128MB Nvidia Graphic Card, 80GB Hard Disk Drive. Windows XP SP2.

First of all you must set port forwarding in your router or modem. Im using Aztech DSL605E Router. Set the port range as 2300~2399 UDP. If you open this port and connection will be faster.

Second, disable Windows Firewall. Because its just useless.

Third, if your have a sharing connection to other PC then please make sure that the other PC not visiting YouTube and running P2P application such as Ares, utorrent, etc. Because it will used up all your bandwidth.

Lastly, before you play WT you must close antivirus and another unused application. After that, delete whole Xtrap folder (C:\Program Files\Softnyx\WolfTeam\XTrap) and let Xtrap update automatically after you login to the game. Done.

Headshot with Assault Rifle

It’s really cool when you shoot wolf or human and give them headshot. Bravo! Thats mean its save your HP or your teammate HP from larger damage. Your enemy totally die that moment unless you got laggy game situation. When i got some gold I always use full upgrade EF2000-WT for the headshot and vs sniper. Sometimes I use AK-47 with dot sight for it. But when no gold, you will love to use M16A2. After i died with headshot, i will use grenade and wolf to kill the enemy and aim again.
